    I think one must first argue why it is a good idea. “It is already being done through back channels” is not an argument I find compelling. In some respects it strikes me as keeping the casino open longer.

    Every institution competes for attention. When you can check twitter 24h, but the stock exchange only for 8 hours (and these 8 hours may not be among your waking hours), that makes twitter feel more real.

    it's a bad idea because your money will run out faster, if you just trade 9-5 you can space your losses out
